Joint Clinician Scientist Programme of RISE and CRC/TRR 205 successfully started

The first joint meeting of RISE and CRC/TRR 205 clinician scientist started on 22.10.2020. The workshop with the topic “Scientific writing without pain” was held by Dr. Martina Michalikova. She worked with the Clinician Scientists on how to develop scientific writing skills and gave tips on how to delve into the writing process faster. Furthermore, she illustrated how to improve the structure and flow of texts for manuscripts and to achieve high writing output of papers.

On 19.11.2020 the second online event for Clinician Scientists of RISE and CRC/TRR started. Jimmy Masjkur gave a scientific talk on “Use of steroid profiling combined with machine learning for identification and classification in subclinical Cushing”. After presenting his impressive data, an intense discussion started. Also linking data between Dresden and Würzburg was suggested.
