This year, Prof. Bornstein again thanks all colleagues for their commitment and sends Christmas greetings to everyone.

We are delighted that Prof. Andreas Linkermann and Prof. José Pedro Friedmann Angeli are once again among the researchers who have made a significant and broad influence this year. This circle consists of 6.938 people in 2022. This is the second time that both have appeared on the list of „Highly Cited Researchers“.

The DFG has approved a continuation of the CRC/TRR 205, therefore we enter the second funding period. All members are happy about the result and about the opportunity to continue working on this exciting topic.
