New career path for young doctors in the academic medicine

Job offers for residency (w/m/d) in Paediatrics, Internal Medicine and Endocrinolgy as a Clinician Scientist for further education.

The Clinician Scientist Programme on Rare Important Syndromes in Endocrinology (RISE), funded by the Eva Luise and Horst Köhler foundation & Else Kröner- Fresenius- Stiftung, offers a three- year medical training as a Clinician Scientist beginning from April 2020 at the University Hospitals in Dresden, Würzburg and Munich. The candidates will undergo a rotation through various fields of research for 12 months with the goal to found their own work group in the end.
Applicants should be doctors with a doctors degree in their 2.-4. year of residency at one of the university hospitals in Dresden, Würzburg and Munich.
The RISE programme includes a curriculum lasting for three years and offers a release for scientific research for 18 months.
In order to support the career development as a Clinician Scientist there will be close monitoring and further trainings.
